Heat Glass vs Ceramics
This modeling examined the relation between glass and ceramic cup propensity to allow water to retain heat.

The graph on the left shows the results of measurements.

There was no substantial difference in cups ability to help water retain heat.
However, it has to be taken into account that the open surfaces of both cups, although the same, were quite big and the resulting measurements were probably very similar due to this.
